Craniosacral Therapy (CST)

Craniosacral therapy (CST) is a very gentle and non-invasive holistic approach that has its roots in osteopathy.  It starts from the principle that everything is connected and fluid in a healthy body, and also from the idea that the cranial bones are mobile in very subtle ways, and that the cerebrospinal fluid is driven by an internal rhythm called "movement". primary respiratory system”.

The therapy consists of exerting light pressure along the cranio-sacral system in order to relieve tensions and promote a return to balance and movement, and by doing so, helps the body’s self-healing process.  The system connects the head to the sacrum and includes the skull, cranial sutures, spine, and fascia.

During a session, clients experience various sensations.  These may include:

Deep feeling of relaxation.

• Fall asleep.

• Pulsation detection

• Having sensations of hot and cold.

There are certain contraindications (CI) as follows:

• Recent brain hemorrhage or stroke

• Recent epidural

• Recent fracture of skull bones or vertebrae

• Arnold Chiari malformation
